Hmmmm... can't sleep!! Had a memory of a really tacky bamboo plate that I bought mum as a child with a poem on it.... I can tell now that it was a transfer with some gaudy red roses too... the transfer had slipped in the manufacturing process... but mum didn't care, it was the thought that counted!!
The poem went something like this:
"To one who bears the sweetest name,
and adds a luster to the same,
who shares my joy,
who cheers when sad,
the greatest friend I've ever had,
Long life to her for there's no other,
to take the place of my dear mother."
Love you x

I have started this website today as I never wish the memory of my darling mummy to be forgotten. Having lived with her for 30 years I cannot even begin to explain how empty and sad that I feel this moment in time.
I would have done anything for you mum, as I know you did for me my whole life. I am SO glad that we shared those years together to give me so many great memories.
Her children, family & husband were her whole life- dedicated mother- who always did the best she could no matter how little the resources. Far from a materialistic woman, companionship was far more important.
Gone, but certainly never to be forgotten

We hope that you find it a positive experience developing the site and that it becomes a place of comfort and inspiration for you to visit whenever you want or need to.
